The National Hypnotherapist Register of Australia is sponsored by the Australian Hypnotherapists' Association which for 60 years has been the voice of professional hypnotherapists in Australia. Recognised by state and federal governments and private health providors as the profession's peak body, the AHA has set up the NHRA to ensure that the public has access to a register of qualified and supervised therapists according to nationally recognised standards.

The AHA - Peak Body for Hypnotherapy in Australia.  The AHA is an independent Not for Profit organisation founded in 1949.  On the 3-12-1957 the AHA was  registered in Victoria - Companies Act 1938 - Company No. 38559.  

Eligibility for admission as a Member is through an applicant's actual demonstrated clinical output, specific character and acquired technical knowledge.
